The very next day, Kyle Rogers scored the first of three third period goals by the Walleye en route to a 5-2 win over the Beast. Toledo came up just one goal shy of tying a record for most goals in game Friday in a 8-1 win at Indy. Winterfest came to a close Sunday with a great game between the Walleye and the Fort Wayne Komets. Komets took the game 3-2 in a shootout.
ÃË The Record Man! Forward Kyle Rogers scored twice this week to give him 65 career goals in a Toledo uniform. He is now tied with Evan Rankin for the most goals in Walleye history. ÃË Gametime! Toledo only has a pair of contests coming this week and both will be played at the Huntington Center. Friday night the Kalamazoo Wings come to town.
