
Missiaen Returns to Road Warriors Lineup

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced goaltender Jason Missiaen has been reassigned from Hartford by New York.
Missiaen, 24, is the reigning Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for December after he posted a record of 6-0-1 with a 1.41 goals against average, .957 save percentage and two shutouts in seven games. Missiaen was also named the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the fourth time in his career for his performance Dec. 15-21. He went 4-0-0 with a 0.99 goals against average, .965 save percentage and two shutouts during four starts that week.
He returns to the Road Warriors on a career-best five-game winning streak and undefeated in regulation since Nov. 28th.
A fourth-year pro, Missiaen was assigned to Hartford for a second time this season on December 27th and made one appearance in relief of Mackenzie Skapski on January 3rd. He made 11 saves on 12 shots in that contest against the St. John's IceCaps. Overall, Missiaen has played five games with the Wolf Pack this season, earning a record of 1-2-1 with a 3.56 goals against average and .884 save percentage.
With Greenville, Missiaen has appeared in 13 games this season, recording a record of 8-4-1 with two shutouts, a 2.66 goals against average and .915 save percentage. The 6'8, 206-pound netminder has seen action in 79 career games with the Road Warriors since 2011, notching a record of 48-24-5 with three shutouts, a 2.72 goals-against average and .917 save percentage.
A native of Chatham, Ontario, Missiaen was selected in the fourth round (#116 overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Road Warriors begin another three-game weekend series on Friday when they welcome the Fort Wayne Komets to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena at 7:00 p.m. for the first time this season.
