Wednesday, January 7; Alaska at Utah, 7 p.m.
Friday, January 9; Stockton at Utah, 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 10; Stockton at Utah, 7 p.m.
The Situation
Coming off of a 2-1-1-0 week, with three of the four games played in Alaska, the Grizzlies are back home for their first extended weekend home stand since November 14 and 15.
Gaining Ground
Last week, Utah gained five points in the standings on Colorado, who went 0-3 last week and gained three points on Bakersfield in the Pacific Division standings.
Finally Home
After playing 14 of their last 19 games on the road, the Grizzlies return to Maverik Center Wednesday where they have won six of their last seven.
This Week's Promotions
Utah returns home to host Alaska Wednesday for Wild Wednesday with $2 Soft Drinks, $2 Draft Beers and $5 Student Tickets. X-96 will be onsite with giveaways, promotions and alternative music in the arena all night.
Saturday is Star Wars Night with Make-A-Wish Foundation and fans are invited to come in costume.
Red Hot Rookie
Alex Krushelnyski enters the week with 23 points in 23 games on eight goals and 15 assists. He carries a seven-game scoring streak into action with five goals and eight assists in the stretch.
Good Company
Krushelnyski is one of five rookies in the ECHL to be averaging a point-per-game. He has scored in 16 of 23 games played with the Grizzlies and been called up to Anaheim's AHL affiliate in Norfolk twice already this year.
Red Hot Line
Krushelnyski (five goals, eight assists), Mathieu Aubin (one goal, seven assists) and Michael Pelech (three goals, four assists) have combined for nine goals and 19 assists in the last seven games.
Wrapping Up December
Mathieu Aubin finished tied for third in the 28-team ECHL in scoring in December with eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 13 games. Michael Pelech had seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in 13 games.
Good Week For Goaltending
Igor Bobkov went 1-0-1-0 and stopped 36 of 42 shots. Ryan Faragher stopped 31 of 33 in Friday's 3-2 overtime win and 27 of 30 Saturday in Alaska.

Shula's 347 Grill at Embassy Suites is inviting Grizzlies fans to take their ticket stubs in before or after games this weekend to buy one burger and get one burger half off and they also have unveiled some tasty new appetizers. Shula's is located inside Embassy Suites on 3500 South across from Valley Fair Mall.

Tickets for all Grizzlies home games are on sale now at www.utahgrizzlies.com, Maverik Center box office or any Ticketmaster location. Season ticket packages starting at $29 for three games, group discounts for parties of 10 or more and luxury suites for 16-88 people are available through the Grizzlies corporate offices by calling (801) 988-8000.
Broadcasts
All Grizzlies broadcasts can be heard on 1320 KFAN with Adrian Denny in his 10th season as the "Voice of the Grizzlies. Denny is once again joined for all Grizzlies home games by 1320 KFAN Program Director and host of "Monty in the Morning" Tim Montemayor. Grizzlies broadcasts can be seen on PPV at ECHL.TV and also heard on 1320KFAN.com and iHeart Radio by searching "1320 KFAN." The Grizzlies next televised games on My Utah TV with KUTV's Talkin' Sports Adam Mikulich joining the broadcasts are Monday, January 19 and Friday, January 23.
