INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Alex Wideman and Robin Press provided a goal and an assist apiece and Etienne Marcoux made 32 saves as the host Indy Fuel (26-24-3) defeated the Quad City Mallards (19-30-4) 4-2 Friday night.
Wideman and Press both struck in the first period. Wideman snapped the opening goal in from the slot at 4:21 of the first. The Fuel was on a two-man advantage when Press rifled home the second goal from the high slot at 8:16.
