THE WEEK AHEAD

Friday, November 15th vs. Charlotte Carolina Coliseum 7:05pm

This is the first meeting of five games this season. The Inferno hold a 3-1-1 all-time record against the Checkers. This is one of two home games for the Inferno in the month of November.

Saturday, November 16th at South Carolina N. Charleston Coliseum 7:30pm

The Inferno is 0-1-0 this season and 5-3-1 overall against the Stingrays.

LAST WEEK

Tuesday, November 5th COLUMBIA 4 Baton Rouge 2

The Inferno scored four power play goals as they take the win from the Kingfish. Denis Martynyuk scored at the 9:33 mark of the first period with Erik Adams and Barrie Moore assisting. Corey Hessler scored his third goal of the season four minutes later with passes from Martynyuk and Rejean Stringer to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead. With only 33 seconds into the second period, Justin Morrison scored the game winner with assists to Mike Legg and Hessler. The Kingfish scored their second goal of the night three minutes later by Marquis Mathieu. The Inferno sealed the win with a third period goal by Stringer and assists to Adams and Morrison.

Friday, November 8th Columbia 1 SOUTH CAROLINA 8

Tim Smith recorded the only goal for the Inferno in the second period with an assist from Robin Carruthers. Goaltender Patrick Couture started the game for the Inferno but was replaced by Kevin Swanson in the first period after the first South Carolina Stingrays goal. After two more goalie changes, the Inferno was unable to stop the Stingrays.

Saturday, November 9th Columbia 0 AUGUSTA 2

Augusta scored two quick goals in the first period, only 18 seconds apart, as they win their fourth game of the season. The Inferno outshot the Lynx 39-30 but couldn't find a way to get passed goaltender Colin Zulianello.
