In a Nutshell Utah continued to skate shorthanded this past weekend, using just 12 skaters Friday and 13 Saturday. The Grizzlies continue their set of playing 14 of 16 at home this Friday and Saturday versus Bakersfield.

A Team Effort In Friday night's 7-3 win over Phoenix, 10 of Utah's 12 skaters recorded at least one point. Eight of those skaters recorded multi-point nights in the victory.

That's A lot of Goals Seven goals scored by the Grizzlies Friday was the most scored by the team at the E-Center this year. Seven goals also tied a Utah season-high, set October 23, in a 7-3 win at Phoenix.

Winning Big A four-goal win over Phoenix Friday night was also Utah's largest win margin of the season at home. That margin tied the season-high also set October 23, in a 7-3 win at Phoenix.

Scoring In Threes 3 3rd period goals (Ehgoetz, Miles and King) Friday night for Utah were scored within 2:19 of each other. In the first period of the game Friday, Utah scored three goals within 5:52. However, the team season-high for three consecutive goals is 2 minutes and 18 seconds, when Brad Herauf (2) and Travis Rycroft scored three second period goals at Victoria on December 2nd.

4! Barret Ehgoetz recorded a team season-high Friday night with a +4. That is two off of the all-time team record and the current ECHL season-high which is a +6. On January 6, 1995 versus Houston, Milan Tichy was on the ice for six Denver Grizzlies goals.

Guess Who's Back? After missing a total of 35 games this season due to two separate injuries, center Kris Kasper returned to the ice Saturday versus Phoenix. He created several Utah scoring chances and registered 4 shots on net.

No Need For A Day Off Goaltender Justin Eddy appeared in his ninth and tenth straight games for Utah this weekend versus Phoenix. He posted a 2.50 GAA and a save percentage of .918 this weekend.

Craig Loaned to AHL's Moose Early last week, Utah rookie Matt Craig was loaned to the AHL's Manitoba Moose. He was with the team for their two-game series with Hamilton this past weekend at the MTS Centre.

All-Star Game The ECHL All-Star Game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Utah's Matt Craig and James Laux were selected to participate in the game for the National Conference. Laux remains on IR and will be unable to play in the game.

All-Star Game Broadcast The game will be broadcast live on satellite and cable in Salt Lake City on Altitude Sports and Entertainment. The NHL Center Ice Package will also have live coverage of the game. The radio broadcast of the game will be available on XM Radio Channel 204.
