
$2.00 Parking in Designated Central Parking System Lots for Weeknight Games

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Central Parking System, which owns and manages a number of parking lots in Charlotte uptown area, has announced a "$2.00 Special" in conjunction with Charlotte Checkers home games, according to CPS General Manager Bob Kamper. The reduced parking fee coincides with the $2.00 "Wet Your Whistle Weekday" beer special, presented by Coors Light, available at Charlotte Bobcats Arena on Checkers' weeknight games:
Thursday, February 2 7:00 p.m. vs. Gwinnett
Tuesday, February 7th 7:00 p.m. vs. Columbia
Tuesday, February 14th 7:00 p.m.. vs. Pensacola
Wednesday, March 15th 7:00 p.m. vs. Augusta
Wednesday, March 22nd 7:00 p.m. vs. Gwinnett
Thursday, March 30th 7:00 p.m. vs. South Carolina
Designated parking lots will charge a flat fee of $2.00 for fans attending Checkers weeknight games, effective Thursday, February 2nd through the end of the team's regular season. Those lots include # 745 located on E. 3rd St. between Caldwell & Brevard Sts.; # 734 located on E. Trade St. between Caldwell and Davidson Sts.; and # 746 located at 601 East 5th & Davidson Sts.
CPS's lot 709 located at the corner of 5th and Brevard is designated primarily for season ticket holders and is not included in the "$2.00 Special."
