INFERNO COACH'S SHOW RETURNS: Wednesday, January 25th at 7pm. F.P. Guenette and Marc-Andre Bernier will be our special player guests. Come join us live at The Tap Room, located on Bower Parkway off of Harbison Blvd. The Tap Room is located right next door to the Columbiana Grand Movie Theatre. The Tap Room is home to 50 different beers on tap including root beer. Enjoy their great menu of dinner items, including their Texas Tumbleweed Rolls, Ahi Tuna, Brew Pub Style Roast Beef Sandwich and the Spinach and Portabella Mushroom Sandwich. You can also listen on ESPN 93.1FM from 7pm - 8pm.
THE WEEK AHEAD Friday, January 27th Inferno vs. Charlotte Checkers 7:05pm Carolina Coliseum
The Inferno is 2-2-1 against the Charlotte Checkers. Charlotte is in fourth place with 46 points (21-16-4) in the South Division. This is the sixth meeting out of 10 between these two teams. Last time the Checkers and Inferno met was last week when Charlotte won 5-3 in Columbia.

This weekend's games between the Gwinnett Gladiators and the Inferno will be #6 and #7. The Inferno is 1-4-0 against the Gladiators this season and are ranked second in the South Division Standings with 53 points (24-9-5).
LAST WEEK Monday, January 16th Inferno 2 GWINNETT 6
Pat Noonan scored two quick goals for the Inferno in the first period to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead. Gwinnett scored six unanswered goals as they beat the Inferno 6-2.
Friday, January 20th Inferno 3 CHARLOTTE 5
The Columbia Inferno falls short after a strong effort as they drop to the Charlotte Checkers 5-3. After a scoreless first period, shots on goal were in favor of the Inferno 18 - 11. Charlotte scored the only goal in the second period on the power play by Brandon Cullen at 6:39 to take that 1-0 lead. Brandon Nolan started a flurry of goals in the third period as he roofed the puck passed goaltender Jeff Glass at 2:52 as he tied the game on the power play. Leon Hayward skated in from the blue line as he beat Glass stick side high and netted his 20th goal of the season at 5:04 to give the Inferno a 2-1 lead. Charlotte tied the game at two a piece at 7:57 on their first of two shorthanded goals. Only 20 seconds later, Dusty Jamieson scored the second shorthanded goal to give the Checkers a 3-2 lead. Cullen scored his second goal of the night at 11:27 as Charlotte takes the 4-2 lead over the Inferno. Travis Lisabeth gained control of the rebound to beat Glass low and brought the Inferno back to within one with his 12th goal of the season at 13:58 with help from Gustav Engman and Mike Stathopoulos. Jamieson added an empty net goal as the Checkers take the win from the Inferno.
Saturday, January 21st Inferno 0 SOUTH CAROLINA 3
After a strong first period with shots in favor of the Inferno 14-12, Brad Parsons scored two goals in the second period, only 1 ½ minutes apart, to lead the Stingrays passed the Inferno 3-0. Matt Reid scored an empty net goal for insurance as he nets their third goal of the game. Chris Houle stopped 36 of 39 shots on goal for the Inferno.
