
Magliarditi, Moreland Added To National Roster

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Sunday announced that goaltenders Marc
Magliarditi of Las Vegas and Jake Moreland of Stockton have been added to
the National Conference roster.
Magliarditi replaces teammate Mike McKenna, who is called up to Norfolk of
the American Hockey League, while Moreland replaces Alaska's Chris
Beckford-Tseu, who is called up to the St. Louis Blues of the National
Hockey League.
In his third season with the Wranglers, the 6-foot and 180-pound
Magliarditi leads the ECHL with 18 wins and is tied for the league lead
with three shutouts, while ranking third with a goals-against average of
2.19. The 29-year old Magliarditi is 18-5-3 and ranks fifth in the league
with a .920 save percentage.
The 26-year-old Moreland is in his first season with Stockton and has a
3.32 goals-against average and .905 save percentage after going 20-8-5 and
finished seventh in the league with a 2.18 goals-against average and fifth
with a .932 save percentage with Atlantic City in 2004-05.
The Fresno Falcons are the host for the 2006 ECHL All-Star Skills
Competition on Jan. 24 and the 2006 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Bud
Light on Jan. 25. Both events will be at Save Mart Center and begin at
7 p.m. PT.
Tickets are still available for the game and the skills competition and can
be purchased at the box office at Save Mart Center which is open
Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at
select Save Mart Supermarkets, Tower Records, Wherehouse Music and Ritmo
Latino locations.
