Beauchemin Gets Call To Phantoms

TRENTON, NJ (January 21, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Monday that goaltender Rejean Beauchemin has been recalled by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).

In his return to the Titans on Saturday, Beauchemin made 27 saves in an 8-3 win over the Dayton Bombers. The 20-year old rookie netminder has posted a 3-6-1 record for Trenton with a 3.01 GAA and a .905 save percentage. Beauchemin now heads to Philadelphia (AHL) for the fourth time this year, where he has recorded an identical record while also registering a 2.61 goals against average. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the sixth round (191st overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
