
Durno Called up To Milwaukee

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that left winger Chris Durno has been called up to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Durno leads the Gladiators in scoring with 22 points off of 12 goals and 10 assists in 13 games for the Gladiators. Durno leads the Gladiators in game winning goals with two and is a +9 for Gwinnett.
Durno's six game goal scoring streak from October 22nd through November 12th is still stands as the longest goal scoring streak of the ECHL this season while his nine game point scoring streak from October 22nd through November 24th currently ranks 3rd in the ECHL.
The Scarborough, Ontario native led the Gladiators in scoring during the post season in each of the past two seasons. Durno shared first on the Gladiators in scoring during the 2004 Kelly Cup Playoff with 7 goals and 5 assists for 12 points in 13 games while the forward led the Gladiators in scoring during the 2005 Kelly Cup Playoffs with 7 points off of 5 goals and 2 assists.
Durno should be available for the Admirals tonight as they travel to Chicago to the Wolves at 8:05 p.m.
The Gwinnett Gladiators continue the 2005-06 ECHL season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Tuesday, November 15th as they host the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 7:05 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties.
