TRENTON, NJ (December 2, 2005) - The Trenton Titans announced on Friday that defenseman Rosario Ruggeri has been assigned by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Ruggeri, 21, returns to the Titans after appearing in one game with the Phantoms this weekend. The second-year veteran from Montreal, Quebec is tied for the lead among Titans defenseman with 5 points (1g, 4a) in 13 games.
Drafted by the Flyers in the 2002 NHL Draft, the fourth-round pick (#105 overall) totaled 112 points (24G, 88A) and 301 PIM over 204 career QMJHL games with Montreal and Chicoutimi from 2000-04.
