
Daavettila Returns to K-Wings

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Trent Daavettila has been loaned to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Daavettila has averaged over a point-a-night, producing 18 points (9 goals, 9 assists) in 17 games for the K-Wings this season.
Being loaned to Grand Rapids marks the second time this year that the rookie forward has seen time in the AHL. Daavettila earned two points (2 assists) in 11 games with the Adirondack Phantoms.
Daavettila becomes the 16th member of the K-Wings this season to play in the AHL.
Back on the road this Wednesday, January 6th, the K-Wings will battle the Johnstown Chiefs at 7:05 p.m. at the Cambria County War Memorial.
Kalamazoo returns to Wings Stadium this Friday, January 8th for a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Charlotte Checkers on a Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.
Single-game tickets for any regular season home game are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
