BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Shawn Weller tallied a four-point effort (2g-2a) to help lead a four-goal third period comeback by the Bakersfield Condors, sending the Stockton Thunder (14-16-3, 31 points) to a 6-4 defeat before 6,005 fans at Rabobank Arena on Friday night.

The Thunder, who lost a 3-2 lead after 40 minutes and finished a four-game road trip at 2-2-0 before a season-long 11-game homestand, each received goal-scoring support from Chris D'Alvise, Igor Gongalsky, Ryan Cosntant and Jamie Bates. Former Thunder forward Stephane Goulet pitched in with a three-point (2g-1a) effort.

The Thunder assumed a 2-1 lead after one period despite yielding the game's opening goal to Bakersfield, a power-play marker by Stephane Goulet with 11:14 left on a loose puck scramble.

D'Alvise leveled the score at 1-1 with 2:38 left in the period when he took Jordan Bendfeld's pass at the right circle and beat Timo Pielmeier from off the rush with a backhander for his 12th goal of the season.

Gongalsky's fourth goal of the season lifted the Thunder to a 2-1 cushion just 1:15 later when he converted a one-timer at the doorstep over Pielmeier's blocker. Matt Robinson set up Gongalsky after he stole Mark Mitera's lead pass in the Bakersfield zone.

The Condors tied the score on Goulet's 11th goal of the year at 2:55 of the second period, finishing Sasha Pokuluk's rinkwide pass at the right circle.

The second Thunder power-play goal restored the lead at 3-2 with 2:07 left in the second period on Ryan Constant's third goal of the season, a laser wrist shot from the left point that was set up by Justin DaCosta.

Aubin tied the game at 5:56 of the third period when he converted a bouncing puck at the blocker side post of Andrew Perugini, set up by Maxime Macenauer. Just over four minutes later, Donally continued the rally with his second goal of the season at 9:15 to help Bakersfield restore the lead at 4-3, re-directing Mark Mitera's left point wrist shot through the five-hole of a screened Perugini.

Weller's first of two goals widened to the gap to a 5-3 Thunder deficit on a Bakersfield power-play with 6:41 left in the third period, taking Andrew Ianiero's feed in the slot and beating Perugini with backhanded deke to the glove side.

Bates sliced the deficit to 5-4 with the Thunder's third power play goal of the game with 2:11 left in regulation, converting Gongalsky's centering feed from the right corner with a one-timer that bounced off Pielmeier.

The Thunder nearly rallied to tie the score after they pulled Perugini for a 6-on-5 situation but Pielmeier caught a piece of Constant's one-timer from below the right circle. After the ensuing faceoff, Adam Naglich tracked down a loose puck and fed Weller for the empty net goal at the doorstep with 17.4 seconds left.

Perugini's record fell to 7-7-2 in a 23 save effort.
