Everblades Acquire Capraro From Wheeling

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that the Everblades have acquired forward Chris Capraro from Wheeling to complete an earlier trade for defenseman Cleve Kinley. In an unrelated transaction, forward Brandon Buck has been recalled by the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Capraro, 26, joins the Everblades after starting this season with the Wheeling Nailers. In 25 games with the Nailers, Capraro scored five goals and 22 points with eight minutes in penalties. The Medford, Mass. Native joins the Everblades to complete an earlier trade with Wheeling for defenseman Cleve Kinley.

ECHL All Star forward Brandon Buck has been recalled to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Buck has appeared in 26 games with Florida this season scoring eight goals and nine assists for 17 points with 14 penalty minutes. The rookie forward earned his first ECHL All Star selection on December 30. The Delaware, Ontario native has suited up for five games with the Aeros this season and has been held scoreless.

The Florida Everblades continue their season high, 11-game road trip tonight in Elmira, New York. The 'Blades battle the Jackals tonight and Saturday night in First Arena at 7:35 p.m. Florida will then travel to Reading, Pennsylvania for a Sunday afternoon contest against the Royals at the Sovereign Center. Face off between the Everblades and Royals is at 5:05 p.m.
