
Captains to Send Two Players to the Midwest League All Star Game

Eastlake, OH - The Midwest League has announced their mid-season All Star teams and the Lake County Captains have two representatives on the Eastern Division squad. Logan Vick will be a starter in the outfield and he will be joined by reliever Louis head at the All Star game on June 18 at Fifth Third Field in Dayton, OH which is the home of the Dayton Dragons.
Vick is a 22 year old from Kerrville, TX and was the Cleveland Indians 11th round pick in the 2012 from Baylor University. This season he is hitting .269 with 2 HR's and 22 RBI's with eight stolen bases. Vick has played all three outfield positions and is among the league leaders with six outfield assists.
Head (0-0, 1.27, 3 saves), a 23 year old right hander out of Katy, TX, was drafted in the 18th round of the 2012 draft from Texas Tech University. Head has appeared in 17 games this season and has allowed only three earned runs in 21.1 innings of work.
