Brewers Pitcher Jim Henderson to Make Rehab Appearance With Rattlers

GRAND CHUTE, WI - Jim Henderson had seventeen saves for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in the first half of the 2009 season. Henderson, now a reliever for the Milwaukee Brewers, returns to Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium on June 7 as part of a rehabilitation assignment.

Henderson, who was injured in a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on May 24, will pitch for the Timber Rattlers when Wisconsin hosts the Beloit Snappers. Game time on Friday is 7:05pm.

The Canadian closer is 2-1 with nine saves in nine opportunities for the Brewers in 2013. He has an ERA of 0.92 with 23 strikeouts and five walks in 19-2/3 innings for the Brewers this season.

Friday night is the final game of the Miller Summer Kickoff Week. Miller Products will be available for $1 while supplies last. Friday is also a North Shore Bank Family Night. Children 12 and under receive a free hot dog and soda. Plus, kids 14 and under may participate in Kids Run the Bases thanks to Molina Healthcare after the postgame fireworks!
