Gibbard and Magnifico to Represent Timber Rattlers at 2013 MWL All-Star Game

GRAND CHUTE, WI - A pair of Wisconsin Timber Rattlers pitchers will represent the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers at the 2013 MWL All-Star Game in Dayton, Ohio on June 18. Ryan Gibbard and Damien Magnifico have been selected in a vote of league managers to be on the Western Division squad.

Magnifico, a 5th round pick out of the University of Oklahoma in the 2012 draft by the Brewers, is 5-0 with a 3.89 ERA with Wisconsin this season. Gibbard, a 14th round pick out of Lynn University in the 2012 draft by the Brewers, is 3-1 with a 3.48 ERA as a Timber Rattler in 2013.

Matt Erickson, the manager of the Timber Rattlers, will be the manager of the Western Division team that will play the Eastern Division at Fifth Third Field, the home of the Dayton Dragons, at the 2013 All-Star Game. Erickson was named the manager of the Western Division when the Timber Rattlers won the 2012 Midwest League Championship.

Pitching coach David Chavarria, hitting coach Dusty Rhodes, trainer Jeff Paxson, and strength & conditioning coach Christian Polega join Erickson as the coaching staff for the Western Division team.
