
Brett Draney Sent to Idaho for Conditioning

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that left wing Brett Draney has been loaned to the Idaho Steelheads, the Grizzlies primary ECHL affiliate, for conditioning. Draney has missed the last four games with Utah after an injury sustained on March 20th.
The Merritt, British Columbia native has played in 36 games with the Grizzlies this season scoring a goal and adding an assist with 59 penalty minutes. In 17 games with the Steelheads this year, the 6-1, 195-pound forward scored 10 goals with four assists and 36 penalty minutes.
Draney was originally a sixth round selection of the Dallas Stars in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He is expected to join the Steelheads in time for tonight's game against Las Vegas in Boise.
The Grizzlies will be in action next on Friday night when they host the San Antonio Rampage where they'll look to extend their five-game point streak (3-0-2).
