The Providence Bruins begin a stretch of four games in five nights on Wednesday, March 31 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Lowell Lock Monsters at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence. The game will conclude the teams' 10-game season series. Providence holds a 7-0-1-1 advantage in the previous meetings. The Bruins are in fourth place in the Atlantic Division with their 32-26-10-4 record (78 points), three points behind the third place Worcester IceCats. Lowell holds the fifth and final playoff spot in the division with its 32-30-6-5 record, putting them three points behind the Bruins.
Bruin captain Rich Brennan and left wing Mike Gellard will be among the guests on tonight's edition of "Providence Bruins Weekly Presented by National City Mortgage". The show airs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on WSKO AM-790, The Score. Bruins head coach Scott Gordon will be on the show, as will Providence Journal beat writer Joe McDonald. This week's featured guest in the "Providence Bruins Alumni" segment will be forward Ted Donato.
The Bruins will play three games this weekend, beginning on Friday, April 2 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Springfield Falcons. They visit the Portland Pirates on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m., before returning home to host the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday, April 4 at 4:05 p.m.
