OCTANE TO PERFORM ON WEDNESDAY

Following Philadelphia's game this Wednesday, March 31 vs. Norfolk, local rock band Octane will be performing at the Spectrum thanks to WYSP (94.1 FM). Octane was the winner of the 2003 Philadelphia Music Awards: Best Original Band and Best Original CD, and has opened for 3 Doors Down, Judas Priest and Poison. Everyone with a ticket to the Phantoms game that night will get to stay for the concert.

COWS ON ICE FRIDAY

On Friday, April 2, Chick-Fil-A will have interactive tables on the concourse and the ever-popular Cows On Ice promotion during an intermission. The Cingular Wireless NCAA Team and inflatable will also be on hand, as will the folks from WHYY TV and the Epilepsy Foundation.

BLOCK PARTY ON FRIDAY

Hey fans, make sure you come down for the Phantoms and Flyers' Official Pre-Game Block Party on Friday, April 2. The fun begins at 4:00 p.m. outside the Wachovia Center. Join us for live music, great games, giveaways, and delicious food. Beat the traffic and get down here early before the Phantoms battle the Hershey Bears. See you here at 4:00!

SUNDAY IS FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT

Fan Appreciation Night is set for this Sunday, April 4. Dozens of prizes will be up for grabs, including game-worn jerseys in the Shirts Off Our Back promotion, a Hyundai Santa Fe, Harley Davidson Sportster, autographed Phantoms gear. The Phantoms' end-of-season team awards will be presented prior to the game.

PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE

Tickets for the Phantoms' first three Calder Cup Playoff games, as well as 15-game strips for the entire playoffs, are on sale. Prices for individual Phantoms playoff games are $15, $19 and $20 for adults, and $9 for all children 14 and under.

Individual game playoff tickets will be available at the Wachovia Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations throughout the Delaware Valley. Fifteen-game packages are $210, $270 and $285 for adults, and just $135 for kids. They can only be purchased by calling the Phantoms sales office at 215-465-4522.

PHANTOMS RAISE $2,200 FOR FORMER "SLAP SHOT" STAR

The Phantoms raised $2,200 during a silent auction on March 28 in support of fundraising activities for Louise Arters, who portrayed one of the blonde bombshell groupies known as the "Sparkle Twins" in the 1977 Universal Pictures release "Slap Shot." The silent auction included autographed Phantoms and Flyers memorabilia, Phantoms ticket packages, as well as Charlestown Chiefs jerseys, photos and pucks. Additional "Slap Shot" items can be found at http://www.slapshotfan.com/auction.htm. Last year's event raised over $2,600.

Appearing with Arters and "Sparkle Twin" twin sister Janet to drop the ceremonial opening puck were fellow "Slap Shot" actors Paul D'Amato (Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken), Yvon Barrette (Denis Lemieux), Guido Tenesi (Billy Charlebois), Christopher Murney (Hanrahan) & Bill "Goldie" Goldthorpe, the real life player that the movie's infamous Ogie Ogelthorpe character was based on.

BERUBE ON SPOTLIGHT

Player/assistant coach Craig Berube will be the guest on Comcast SportsNet's SpotLIGHT show on Thursday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m. The half-hour interview will also air on Friday, April 2 at 12:30 p.m.

VOTE FOR FAN'S CHOICE AWARD

Log on to www.phantomshockey.com and click on the Fan's Choice Award link to place your vote for the 2003-04 player who best represents the Phantoms style of hockey. Balloting ends on Friday, April 2 at noon.

BERUBE ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS"

Player/assistant coach Craig Berube will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM).

PHANTOMS POSTGAME SHOW CONTINUES ON WEDNESDAY

Can't get enough Phantoms action? Then stick around for The Phantoms Postgame Show in Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant. Hosted by David Unkle of The Topcat Sports Show on WNJC 1360-AM, The Phantoms Postgame Show lets you get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms player following 21 games throughout the season. REGISTRATION UNDER WAY TO WIN HARLEY DAVIDSON

Stop by the Harley Davidson motorcycle display on the concourse by Friday to register to win a customized purple Harley Davidson Sportster. The winner will be presented his/her new motorcycle on Fan Appreciation Night this Sunday, April 4.

REGISTER TO WIN HYUNDAI SANTA FE

Registration will end on Friday to win a 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe, courtesy of Colonial Hyundai and WXTU (92.5 FM). On Fan Appreciation Night this Sunday, five people who signed up will receive a key and whoever's key starts the car that night will win.
