
Bisons Roam Up in Buffalo

Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Buffalo, NY) - The Buffalo Bisons (62-53) defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (63-53) 10-1 on Saturday evening. Rafael Lantigua had seven RBI for the Bisons and three of the team's 12 hits.
The Bisons scored a run in the bottom of the first inning as Colton Eastman (0-6) issued a bases loaded walk to Lantigua. Yoshi Tsutsugo hit a home run against Eastman in the bottom of the second inning to give Buffalo a 2-0 lead. Buffalo proceeded to score three runs against James Marvel in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 5-0 lead. Gabriel Moreno hit an RBI single then Lantigua hit a two-run double.
Braeden Ogle issued a walk to Tsutugo with the bases loaded that extended Buffalo's lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning. Lantigua hit a grand slam against Erik Miller in the bottom of the eighth inning that would give Buffalo a 10-1 lead.
The lone run for Lehigh Valley was a home run by Daniel Robertson against Adrian Hernandez in the top of the seventh inning. The home run was his third of the season.
Hayden Juenger (2-0) earned the win for the Bisons. He pitched two scoreless innings, while giving up one hit and striking out three batters.
The IronPigs and Bisons will finish up their series on Sunday afternoon at Sahlen Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
