
Americans Reign Supreme in "Best of the Best"

ALLEN, Texas- The Allen Americans are on top of the CHL standings, and have now been voted in the top three for a league best 17 categories of the 'Best of the Best.'
In addition to being named in the top three more than any other club in the league, Allen also registered 7 first place finishes; also the most of any team.
The categories in which Allen took home first place include Bruce Graham for 'Best Power Forward' and Kip Brennan for 'Best Fighter - Heavyweight'. Other categories in which Americans took home the first place vote were 'Best Team Logo', 'Best Team Uniforms', 'Best Cheerleaders/Dance Team', and Best City'. Allen also finished tied for the 'Most Attractive Place to Play'.
"We are honored that organizations from around the league hold in such high regard the City of Allen and our organization as a whole," Americans President Matt Canavan said.
Allen was granted second place finishes in the categories of 'Best Defensive Defenseman' (Erik Adams), 'Best Bodychecker' (Scott Langdon), 'Best Rookie' (David Strathman), 'Best Equipment and Training Staff,' 'Best Team Website,' and 'Best Arena Concessions.'
The Americans also were granted third place in three different categories. Dwight Mullins took home third place in the 'Best Coach' category, while the Allen Event Center was ranked as the third best arena in the CHL, and the Americans were tapped as the third best club in their use of social media.
