March 8, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
TEMPE, AZ (March 8, 2011) - The Central Hockey League announced today that Missouri ¬â¢s Robby Nolan has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending March 6, 2011.

Nolan won both of his starts last week allowing just one goal in the 120 minutes he played. On Friday night, the all-star was locked up in one of the classic goaltender ¬â¢s duals of the season with Quad City ¬â¢s David Brown. In the end, a third period score from Ryan Jardine, aided by Nolan ¬â¢s 34 saves, led to a 1-0 win by the Mavericks that clinched a berth in this season ¬â¢s playoffs. The Sherwood Park, Alberta native followed Friday ¬â¢s effort up with a 35-save performance in a 5-1 win at Quad City.
