Jacks Recognized Among League's Best

March 8, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL) - Odessa Jackalopes News Release

ODESSA, TX - The Central Hockey League's annual "Best of the Best" poll was release earlier today, and a few members of the Odessa Jackalopes found themselves at the top of some of the categories.

Sebastien Thinel was voted as the "Best Playmaker" and "Best on the Power Play" in the league this year. Thinel leads the CHL with 66 assists.

Todd Robinson also was recognized on the man-advantage, coming in second behind Thinel in the Power Play category.

For the second straight season the league's "Most Underrated Player" resides in the Permian Basin. Last season Collin Circelli was voted tops in that category. This season it's Mike Ramsay.

Off the ice the Jackalopes were honored as having the "Best Concessions" in the league.

The Jackalopes host the Allen Americans tonight at 7:05 PM CST at the Ector County Coliseum.
