HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the American Hockey League that Friday's game between the Penguins and BEARS has been postponed due to heavy snowfall in northeast Pennsylvania. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The game will be made up on Sunday, January 11 at a time to be determined.
The BEARS will host the Lowell Devils Saturday night at GIANT Center, with face-off slated for 7:00 p.m. Lake Erie comes to town Sunday at 5:00 p.m. for their only central PA appearance in 2008-09. Tickets are available for both games at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 534-3911.
