Griffins Offer Post-Christmas Fun

Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 vs. Peoria Rivermen

Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Tickets: Available at The Zone and all Star Tickets outlets, including West Michigan Meijer stores. Charge by phone at (616) 222-4000 / (800) 585-3737 or visit griffinshockey.com. NOTE: The Zone will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25.

Prices: $5 (advance purchase only), $13, $15, $17, $20 and $25.

Dollar Beers, Dollar Dogs: The ever-popular promotion runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 domestic drafts while supplies last.

College Night: Presented by McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon, college students can visit the arena box office on the night of the game or The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours to purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 with a valid student ID. While at the game, show your ID at the McFadden's concourse table to pick up a free pass to the post-game party, which is good for no cover charge and drink specials.

Get Pumped!: Receive a special ticket discount based on the national average price of a gallon of gasoline. Valid for tickets in sections 101, 102 and 128.

Library Night: Fans who present a public library card from the Grand Rapids Public Library or Kent District Library at the arena box office on the night of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours can purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 (limit four per card).

Post-Game Autographs: Ville Leino, Jan Mursak and Jonathan Ericsson will sign autographs after the game from the Griffins bench (players subject to change).

Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 vs. Lake Erie Monsters

Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).
