Weather Postpones Wrestlers' Appearance

Peoria, Ill (December 19, 2008) - The Peoria Rivermen have announced that tonight's appearance of WWE Legends Jerry "The King" Lawler, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Koko B. Ware has been postponed due to the weather. Illinois Pork Producers night has also been postponed. The Rivermen game with the Iowa Chops is still on; as scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
The wrestlers' appearance as well as the eco-friendly tote bag giveaway will be rescheduled for a later date in the season and unused tickets for tonight's game will be honored on that date.
The fourth annual Rivermen Teddy Bear Toss will still take place following the first Rivermen goal of the game.
