Alintoff Stumps Stormers

June 18, 2025 - Justin Alintoff came within two outs of dealing the first nine-inning shutout against the Lancaster Stormers in nearly three years on Wednesday evening. Alintoff (1-3) had to settle for a three-hit, one-run performance over 8 1/3 innings as he pitched the Long Island Ducks to a 6-1 victory in the middle game of a three-game series at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. Early Gaffes Doom Stormers

June 17, 2025 - The Long Island Ducks parlayed four Lancaster errors and a balk into a four-run first inning and were never headed Tuesday evening at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. They ended up cruising to an 8-4 win over the Stormers in the opener of a three-game series. Kole Kaler led off the night for the Ducks with a one-hopper to third baseman Slater Schield who made a wild throw past Mason Martin, allowed Kaler to reach second. Stormers Add Outfielder

June 17, 2025 - The Lancaster Stormers have added outfielder Evan Alexander, it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples. Alexander, 27, played in the New York Yankees organization from 2016 until early in the 2022 season. Since then, he has played in the American Association with Fargo- Moorhead and Winnipeg. The native of the Dallas, Texas area batted .230 with 14 homers and 47 steals in 269 games in the New York system, peaking at Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the beginning of 2022.
