Las Vegas, NV-The Las Vegas Wranglers swept the Bakersfield Condors over the weekend to finish the preseason 2-0-0. The Wranglers won the first game at the Orleans Arena on Friday, with a 4-2 victory over the Condors. Saturday night, Las Vegas edged Bakersfield 3-2 in a shootout. Las Vegas will open the season on the road Friday, October 17 in Boise,ID. The Wranglers start their inaugural season with three straight games at the Idaho Steelheads' Bank of America Centre.

Las Vegas 4 vs. Bakersfield 2

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Bakersfield Condors 4-2 Friday night at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers pick up their first win in the first ever game at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers' offense was powered by Dave Cousineau and Justin Kelly who each scored a goal and added an assist. Goaltender Marc Magliarditi picked up the win in net stopping 32 Condors' shots. Chris Kenady and Greg Day each scored in the preseason win. The two teams combined for 70 penalty minutes.

Las Vegas 3 at Bakersfield 2 SO

Bakersfield, CA- The Las Vegas Wranglers concluded their preseason with a 3-2 shootout win in Bakersfield Saturday night. Cam Bristow and Kevin O'Flaherty each scored power-play goals

in regulation. Jason McBain and Chris Kenady each scored in the shootout. Goaltender Marc Magliarditi stopped all but one shooter in the shootout and 31 saves in regulation. Bakersfield netminder John Watkins finished with 37 saves for the Condors. The Wranglers conclude the preseason with a 2-0-0 record

Justin Kelly led the Wranglers in scoring for the preseason with one goal and two assists. Greg Day and Dave Cousineau each scored a goal and added an assist in two games. Goaltender Marc Magilarditi stopped 63 of 67 shots for a .940 save percentage. The Wranglers netminder finished with a 1.92 goals against average. Defenseman Deryk Engelland led the team in penalty minutes with 16 in the two games. Las Vegas went three of seven on the power play and eight of nine on the penalty kill. Wranglers' defenseman Jonathan Shockey returns to Boise after spending last season and three of the last five seasons with the Steelheads. The former Steelhead posted 41 points in 155 career games. He also tallied 507 penalty minutes.
