Lafayette, LA – The Louisiana IceGators have released goaltender Dwight LaBrosse and defenseman Adam Collins from their tryout agreements, head coach and vice president of hockey operations Dave Farrish announced Monday.

The IceGators' roster stands at 18 (11 forwards, five defenseman and two goalies), with the final roster due to the ECHL office Wednesday afternoon. The players left in camp are forwards Guillaume Berube, Armands Berzins, Bobby Brown, Kenny Corupe, Ken Goetz, Brian Herbert, Jamie Johnson, Konstantin Kalmikov, Martin Masa, Alex Matieroukhine and Dennis Shiryaev, defensemen Anthony Bilotto, Nick Cammarata, Josh Mizerek, Ben Storey and Jan Vrtik and goaltenders Frederic Cloutier and Derek Gustafson.

The IceGators open their ninth ECHL season Friday at Mississippi at 7:35 p.m. The Sea Wolves come to the Cajundome Saturday at 7:05 p.m. for the IceGators' home opener. The team will be honoring Chris Valicevic throughout the night, retiring his jersey and giving away 5,000 Thundersticks, thanks to KADN Fox 15. Tickets, starting at $10 for adults, are on sale now at the Cajundome Box Office or by calling Ticketmaster at (337)262-8686. Kids ages 2-12 can get tickets in any level for just $9 every night. Full season ticket packages, half season plans and Ice Packs are also on sale now and can be purchased by calling (337) 234-4423. Full season packages start at just $288, while children ages 4-12 can have season tickets for only $225 in any level, including rink side, with an adult purchase.
