
Florida Goes 1-1 in Preseason

Florida Everblades News Release
The Florida Everblades defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves 5-3 this past Saturday night and fell to the Sea Wolves on Sunday 6-3 in two preseason games at TECO Arena. The Everblades finished up their preseason schedule on Sunday and open the season on the road in Augusta this Friday night. In related news, Florida signed forwards Roberto Bissonnette and Jamie O'Leary to contracts and released forwards Cory Norris, Eric Lazure and defenseman Jay St. John. This season all regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. This Saturday night's 7:30 PM game in Augusta and Sunday's 2:30 PM game in Florence will be Internet only broadcasts due to conflicts on Sportsradio 770 AM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. The show will be live on remote at the Naples location beginning on Monday, October 20th.

The Everblades battle the Louisiana Ice Gators at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th at TECO Arena. The Florida Everblades kicked off their preseason in style Saturday night by routing the Mississippi Seawolves 5-3 before a crowd of 5,048 at TECO Arena. Florida forwards Carl Mallette and Reggie Berg led the offensive attack. Mallette finished with two goals while Berg added a goal and three assists.
Sunday, October 12th vs. Mississippi 3-6 L
The Mississippi Sea Wolves defeated the Florida Everblades 6-3 in front of 4,454 in pre season action at TECO Arena on Sunday. The Everblades and Sea Wolves split a pair games over the weekend. The Everblades open their season on Friday night in Augusta.
