
Wolves Kick-Off 10th Season on Oct. 11

The Chicago Wolves begin their 10th campaign and third season in the 68-year-old American Hockey League on Sat., Oct. 11 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Allstate Arena at 7 p.m.
The Wolves will play 28 of their 40 regular-season home games during the weekend, which includes hosting a team-record 18 Saturday matchups.
In the AHL's realigned divisional format, the Wolves will play 75 percent of their games against West Division rivals  the Griffins; Cincinnati Mighty Ducks; Houston Aeros; Milwaukee Admirals; San Antonio Rampage; and Utah Grizzlies. Highlighting the 2002 Calder Cup Champion's schedule are first-time appearances by the Hamilton Bulldogs, St. John's Maple Leafs and the AHL's newest team, the Toronto Roadrunners.
