Walleye Sign Forward Iaquinto Danis-Pepin to Rockford and Tucker Released

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin has been recalled to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In a separate move, Toledo has signed forward Anthony Iaquinto and released forward Jeremy Tucker.

Iaquinto was a member of the 2010 Toledo Walleye Free-Agent camp. The 21 year old also participated in Cincinnati's training camp prior to this season. The native of Brighton, Michigan played earlier this season with Augusta in the Southern Professional League.

Danis-Pepin has seen action in 23 games this season with Toledo. Simon has 2 goals, 10 assists and 30 penalty minutes with the Walleye. Tucker appeared in three games with Toledo and had two assists.

The Toledo Walleye will be back at home Friday, March 18th at 7:00 PM vs. the South Carolina Stingrays at the Huntington Center. Tickets are on sale for that contest and all remaining home games. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
