Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Matt Caruana has been recalled from Reading to the Marlies. In transactions previously completed, (i) forward Dale Mitchell was recalled by the Maple Leafs and reassigned to the Marlies; and (ii) goaltender Michael Hutchinson was recalled by the Boston Bruins and reassigned to the Providence Bruins.
This is the second time this season that Caruana, a third year pro from Orono, Ontario, has been recalled to the Marlies.
