(Boise, ID) - Las Vegas scored three unanswered goals in the third period to rally past the Idaho Steelheads Saturday night, 6-5, in front of a sellout crowd of 5,228 fans in Boise's Qwest Arena.

Josh Lunden's goal off a perfect feed from Ryan Huddy with less than four minutes to play capped off a rally that handed Idaho its first regulation loss when leading after two periods this season (17-1-0-2).

The Wrangler rally offset a record-setting performance from Idaho forward Mark Derlago, who set a Steelheads ECHL-era record with four goals in the game. His fourth, at the 17:43 mark of the second period, gave Idaho a 5-3 lead and gave the Brandon, Manitoba, native 32 tallies on the season for the Steelheads. The Steelheads also got four assists from Evan Barlow, giving him 25 helpers in 26 games with Idaho this season.

Idaho (28-19-4-8) took a 3-1 lead after one period of play behind a pair of Derlago goals and Kael Mouillierat's 20th goal of the season. Derlago netted a pair more in the second, but Las Vegas countered with two goals in the frame from defenseman Aaron Power. Power, who came into the game with three goals all season, had three goals in the game for Las Vegas.

Chris Francis cut Idaho's lead to 5-4 with a tally at 4:14 of the third and then Francis tied it up on a nifty wrap-around goal at 13:16 of the period, setting up Lunden's game-winner.

Adrien Lemay suffered his first loss in net for the Steelheads, stopping 22 of 28 Wrangler shots.

Idaho returns home the final week of March to host "Pink in the Rink" week against the Ontario Reign. The Steelheads will wear specially-themed pink jerseys on March 23, 25, and 26 at Qwest Arena. Tickets are available at www.idahosteelheads.com or by calling 208.331.TIXS.
