STORM NOTES

- Seeing the Finish! Just 3 games remain in the 2004-05 season, and Toledo is right in the thick of the playoff picture (currently tied with Trenton in the third playoff spot). Toledo has collected 19 of the last 24 possible points; 9-2-1 in the last 12 games. To clinch a spot in the playoffs the Storm need to collect 3 of its 6 possible remaining points. - The Bar is High! Sunday's win in Dayton propelled Toledo to a season high 16 games above .500. Toledo also reached the 40 win mark for the second time in the last 3 seasons.

- Running the Numbers! Toledo is 26-6-1 when scoring the first goal in a game...25-8-3 when out-shooting an opponent...25-1-0 when leading after two periods...13-1-1 when tied after two periods...21-5-5 in one goal games...28-7-2 when scoring 3 or more goals in a game...39-7-3 when allowing 3 goals or less...

- Major League! Friday night against Johnstown, Rob Snowball collected 2 fighting majors. Rob has 21 major penalties on the season, which is tied for the second most in the ECHL.

STORM WATCH

- The Toledo Storm Coach's Show returns this Tuesday night at the Bronze Boar, 20 S. Huron Street in downtown Toledo. Join Head Coach Nick Vitucci and Matt Melzak from 6-7pm for Storm hockey talk. The coach's show can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 1230.

- The Toledo Storm will return to action this Thursday night in Reading. Toledo is 3-5-0 against the Royals this season. Scooter Smith has 5 assists in 6 games against Reading.

- Friday night the Storm welcome in the Peoria Rivermen. Toledo is 6-4-0 against the archrival Rivermen this season. Goaltender Logan Koopmans has a record of 3-0-0 with a 1.28 goals against average and a .956 save percentage against Peoria.

- Saturday night Toledo will welcome in the Trenton Titans. Toledo is 2-5-1 against the Titans this year. Defenseman Paul Ballantyne has played in 5 games against Trenton, and has scored 3 goals and added 2 assists. Saturday night is also fan appreciation night, where hundreds of prizes will be given out to thank fans for their support of the 2004-05 Storm.

STORM PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Pierre Luc Sleigher (3 goals - 3 assists = 6 points)

Pierre capped his 6-point week with his first professional Hat Trick Friday night against Johnstown.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Scott Fankhouser (2-1-0, 8GA & 90SV)

Scott currently has 28 wins on the season. Only two ECHL goaltenders have won more games this year than Fankhouser (Frank Doyle of Idaho 32, and Frederic Cloutier of Pensacola 30).
