South Carolina's Gomez Suspended Three Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Monday that it has suspended South Carolina left wing Robin Gomez for three games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #947 against Florida on April 1.

At 18:44 of the third period, Gomez was assessed a match penalty under Rule 52(a) - Deliberate Injury of Opponent.

Gomez is suspended three games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

Gomez missed South Carolinaís game against Augusta (Apr. 2) and will miss South Carolinaís games at Augusta (Apr. 5) and at Pee Dee (Apr. 8).
