The Stingrays gave away a 2-0 lead and dropped a key game against the Lynx on Saturday night. Jason Saal has started all six games this season for the Lynx against the Rays.

The Pride has an impressive home record of 21-12-2 on the season. The Rays have a road record of 12-15-6. Ed Courtenay has 16 points against the Pride this season on six goals and ten assists.

The Lynx have a record of 38-25-6 on the season. The Rays have played well against the Checkers this season with a mark of 4-1-2. Joe Tenute and Matt Reid each have five goals and four assists against the Checkers on the season.

The South Carolina Stingrays scored four second period goals on their way to a 5-2 route over Greenville to snap a four game losing skid against the Grrrowl. Joe Tenute scored two goals in the win and Kevin Spiewak had a goal and two assists for the Rays.
Friday, April 1, 2005 Stingrays 1 Vs Florida 4
The Florida Everblades scored three second period goals on their way to 4-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays in front of 6,074 at the North Charleston Coliseum. The loss dropped the Stingrays to 37-23-8, while the Blades wrapped up home ice in the first round of the playoffs and improve to 41-19-9.
Saturday, April 2, 2005 Stingrays 2 Vs Augusta 3 SO
North Charleston, SC The Augusta Lynx came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the South Carolina Stingrays 3-2 in a shoot out in front of 7,902 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
The Team:
South Carolina earned three points this week and improved its record to 37-23-9. The Rays will play their last three regular season games on the road trying to earn home ice in the playoffs. They currently have a record of 25-8-9 at home. Tuesday's win in Greenville helped the team improve to 12-15-6 on the road. The Rays' special teams continue to look strong including the penalty kill, which ranks sixth in the league at 86.3% with 13 short handed goals. The Stingrays power play is ranked sixth in the ECHL, clicking at 18.5%.
The Players:
· Joe Tenute continued his assault on the rookie scoring title this week, adding three points to bring his total to 72 on 33 goals and 39 assists.
· Rich Peverley ranks 5th among ECHL rookies in goals with 27. He is sixth among rookies in points with 54.
· Mark Ardelan is now second among ECHL defensemen in goals with 15.
· Robin Gomez currently has 21 major penalties on the season, ranking second in the league.
