
Sea Wolves Re-Sign Lease; Plans Underway For "A Decade In The Den"

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves Professional Hockey announced today at a news conference that the team has re-signed a one-year lease at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, while plans for the 10th Anniversary Season of the team in 2005-06 include an alumni game to be held at the Wolves Den.
"We have traditionally inked one-year deals with the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and it's a relationship that continues to get stronger," said Sea Wolves general manager and coach Bob Woods. "Our attendance is up again this season and we want to thank the community for their support. By celebrating our 10th Anniversary Season beginning in October, the Sea Wolves will become the first professional sports team on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to reach that milestone. We are going to make next year even more special and memorable with surprises along the way."
"The deal is very equitable for both the Coliseum and the team," said Bill Holmes, executive director of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. "Because of the fans and corporate sponsorship support of the Sea Wolves, we're proud to continue to work with the team. Hockey is a great sport and the Sea Wolves have a great product."
Season ticket packages for 2005-06, which is the 10th Anniversary Season, are on sale at the Sea Wolves hockey office and at home games in section 16 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum or by calling (228) 275-WOLF.
Individuals who renew or purchase new season tickets will have an opportunity for significant savings through an "Early Bird Special" which consist of an additional $20 off per season ticket, free parking which is a $108 savings, $18 off an accounting processing fee and up to $126 off walk-up prices.
To qualify for the "Early Bird Special" there must be a 10 percent deposit per seat paid by May 13.
Prices for adults begin at $306 for 36 regular season games, which is an average of $8.50 per game, while season ticket rates for children 12 and under start at $240, an average price of $6.67 per game over 36 regular season games.
Refunds of deposits are subject to a $25 processing fee. There are no refunds after September 16, 2005.

The Sea Wolves take to the ice at 7:05 p.m. tomorrow against the Victoria Salmon Kings at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game promotion is Discounted Daiquiri Night, offering a $2 discount off each daiquiri.
