Everblades top Sea Wolves 4-1 in regular season finale

ESTERO, FL - Matt Deschamps scored the only goal of the evening for the Mississippi Sea Wolves, as they fell in their regular season finale by the score of 4-1 to the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida.

Ernie Hartlieb got the Everblades on the board at 11:24 of the first period, banging home the rebound of a shot from Jacob Micflikier with the Everblades on the power play.

Mississippi held fast until the last five minutes of the second period, when Florida broke the game open. Milan Gajic poked a puck out from under Sea Wolves goalie Ryan Munce and into the net at 15:57. Shortly thereafter, Andrew Sweetland redirected Drew Paris' shot from the right point past Munce for a power-play goal and a 3-0 lead at 16:53. Doug O'Brien's goal at 19:55 of the second period gave the Everblades a 4-0 lead.

Matt Deschamps scored the Sea Wolves only goal of the evening, firing a shot from the right wing that beat Florida goalie David Leggio through the five-hole at 15:55 of the third.

Ryan Munce made 41 saves to earn a loss, and the Sea Wolves were 0-for-5 on the power play.
