
Thunder Place Cheesman on Waivers

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced right wing Bo Cheesman has been placed on waivers.
The Thunder roster currently stands at 18 active players (two goaltenders, 16 skaters).
Cheesman was claimed off waivers by the Thunder on Mar. 23 and scored two points (1g-1a) in five games for Stockton, additionally posting eight penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward has skated in 246 career ECHL games over the course of five seasons (2004-09), scoring 153 points (75g-78a) and posting 248 penalty minutes with the Thunder, Wheeling Nailers, Alaska Aces, Long Beach Ice Dogs and Peoria Rivermen.
Cheesman was previously acquired by Wheeling on Jan. 27 from Alaska for future considerations and scored six points (3g-3a) in 18 games for the Nailers.
The Thunder wraps up the regular season schedule tonight against the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. from Orleans Arena. The game is available on radio at 1420 KSTN and online for viewing online (audio is free-of-charge) for a $7 charge at http://www.stocktonthunder.com/ (courtesy of B2 Networks).
