Royals Set Season High Mark, Beat Cyclones, 4-1

Fueled by forward Peter Hay's two first period goals, including his team leading sixth game-winner of the season, Reading bested division rival Cincinnati, 4-1. The Royals outshot the Cyclones 40-26, on the way to their season high ninth straight home win. Reading sports the league's best record at home (18-1-2), with its last loss dating back to December 21st against Peoria in overtime. Goaltender Peter Hamerlik made 25 saves to win his fourth start in a row. Forward Lars Pettersen added a goal and an assist, as the Royals won their fourth consecutive game. Kent Davyduke accounted for the other Royals marker. Reading returns to action with three straight games at the Sovereign Center, beginning Friday, February 20th versus Atlantic City.
