
Everblades post 2-1-0 week, remain in third place

The Florida Everblades picked up 4 out of a possible 6 points this past week after they fell to the Gwinnett Gladiators 5-3 on Tuesday night in Duluth, GA and swept the Mississippi Sea Wolves 5-3 and 6-4 at TECO Arena. Florida ranks third in the ECHL's Southern Division. Florida forward Brian McCullough notched 9 points in three games this past week and moved into first place in the ECHL in scoring with 68 points. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. The show will be live on remote at the Fort Myers location tonight with player guest Ryan Van Buskirk.
UPCOMING EVENTS/PROMOTIONS AT TECO ARENA: The Everblades take on the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, February 17th at TECO Arena. The Blades host the Columbus Cottonmouths on Friday and Saturday February 27th and 28th at 7:30 PM. The Harlem Globetrotters visit TECO Arena on Friday, March 5th. The Florida Everblades (24-18-9) were defeated by the Gwinnett Gladiators (27-16-2)5-3 in front of 3,159 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Tuesday night. Gwinnett forward Chris Durno picked up one goal and three assists in the Gwinnett win as the Gladiators swept the season series 6-0-0
Friday, February 13 vs. Mississippi 5-3 W
The Florida Everblades (25-19-9) held on to defeat the Mississippi Sea Wolves (30-15-6) 5-3 Friday night in front of 6,722 at TECO arena. Florida forward Brian McCullough led the Everblades with a franchise tying record four goals.
Saturday, February 14 vs. Mississippi 6-4 W
The Florida Everblades (26-19-9) dropped the Mississippi Sea Wolves (30-16-6) 6-4 on Saturday night in front of 6,240 at TECO arena. Jon Insana (2 goals) and Brian McCullough (1 goal, 3 assists) led the way for the Everblades.
