
Blades Help FGCU Hockey Head to Nationals

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades have teamed up with the Estero McDonald's located across from TECO Arena in the Grande Oak shopping center to help the Florida Gulf Coast University hockey team head to the ACHA Division III National Tournament. The sixteen team tournament is being held in Scottsdale, Arizona from March 4-6. The Eagles skated to a 15-6-1 record during the regular season to qualify for the post season national championship tournament.
The Everblades will donate $4 from each ticket purchased only at the Estero McDonald's for the Blades game on March 2nd versus the Augusta Lynx to the FGCU hockey fundraising efforts and Tom Fewster, the owner of the Everblades/FGCU themed McDonald's in Estero, will donate $2 from each ticket purchased for that same game.
The Time is Now! The Everblades take on the Pensacola Ice Pilots at TECO Arena on Tuesday, February 17th at 7:30 PM.
