Moreland Loaned To Worcester

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL have announced that goaltender Jake Moreland has been loaned to Worcester (MA) of the American Hockey League. Moreland will join the Ice Cats tomorrow for their game in Bridgeport, and is expected to return to Atlantic City in time for Wednesday's game against Bakersfield.

Moreland, 24, becomes the tenth Bullie to receive an AHL promotion this season. The Grand Forks, ND native is 9-3-1 in 16 starts with a 2.62 goals against average and a .913% save percentage. He has started the last four Bullies games going 2-1-1. It's the first trip to the AHL for Moreland in his brief career.

Moreland joins Bullies Scott Stirling, Chad Dameworth, Jim Henkel, and Kirk Furey who are all currently playing in the AHL. He is the fourth Atlantic City player to join Worcester this season along with center Henkel and defensemen Danny Eberly and Brian Fahey.

The Bullies battle the Pacific Division Bakersfield Condors at 7:05PM on Wednesday at Boardwalk Hall.
