
Rivers and Beaudoin Rejoin Rampage

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League today announced that the Florida Panthers have reassigned defenseman Jamie Rivers and left wing Eric Beaudoin. At the same time, the Rampage reassigned defenseman Michel Periard to the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League.
Rivers, 27, earned his third call-up to the parent club this season on February 27. He has appeared in one scoreless game with the Cats this year, recording 18:27 of playing time. The Ottawa, Ontario native has played in 340 NHL games notching 49 points (13-36-49).
Prior to being recalled, he appeared in 38 games for the Rampage tallying 20 points (5-15-20).
Beaudoin, 22, joined the Panthers for the fourth time this season on Mar. 4. In 15 games with the Panthers this year, he has recorded an assist and 25 penalty minutes. The Ottawa, Ontario native has played in 23 NHL contests, all with the Panthers, recording five points (1-4-5) and 29 penalty minutes.
Prior to being recalled, he played in 30 games with the Rampage recording 10 goals and 16 assists.
Periard, 23, played in 10 games with the Rampage this year, picking up three goals and five assists. He returns to Laredo where he ranks fourth on the club with 52 points (17-35-52).
Both Beaudoin and Rivers will be in the line-up tonight when the Rampage open an eight-game homestand against their intrastate rivals the Houston Aeros at 7:00 p.m. The game can be heard live on KTKR "The Ticket" 760 AM with Andrew Monaco calling all the action.
