Jason Ward Recalled by Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens, a parent club of the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs, have recalled right-winger Jason Ward from Hamilton.

Ward, a 6'3", 197 pound native of Chapleau, Ontario, is the AHL's leading scorer with 72 points (31g-41a-72pts) and has played in all 69 of the Bulldogs games this season. The Canadiens' first draft pick (11th overall) in the 1997 NHL Entry draft, has also earned a +20 rating this season. Ward has played in 44 NHL games in his career with the Canadiens and has collected three points (2g-1a-3pts).

The Bulldogs next action takes place on Friday, March 11th as they travel to St. John's to take on the Maple Leafs. Bulldogs fans can listen to Derek Wills call all the action, beginning with the pre-game show at 5:50 p.m. on 820 CHAM-AM or on-line at www.hamiltonbulldogs.com.
