Animal Planet Night At The Crunch Friday, March 28

Syracuse, NY (March 11, 2003) – The Syracuse Crunch, along with Timer Warner Cable and Rosamond Gifford Zoo, announced today that the Friday, March 28 game against the Hamilton Bulldogs will be Animal Planet Night.

During the first and second intermission Animal Planet character Crikey Crocodile, life-size standees of Jeff Corwin and Steve Irwin and a zoo display will be set up in the Slapshot room, located in the basement of the War Memorial. Throughout the night Animal Planet and Zoo characters will roam the stands and family four packs to the zoo will be given out.

There will be a surprise visit by a mystery zoo animal and the first 1,000 kids in attendance will receive a coloring sheet, courtesy of Times Warner Cable and Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

The Crunch travel to Albany on Wednesday, March 12 for a 7 p.m. match-up. Crunch action can be heard on SportsRadio 620 WHEN with play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott. The Crunch return home on Friday, March 14 for Cintas Rally Towel Night, where the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Crunch rally towel, courtesy of Cintas. Saturday, March 15, the Crunch host the Rochester Americans for Empire Vision Centers Poster Night II, when all fans in attendance will receive a Crunch poster, compliments of Empire Vision Centers. Both games are set for a 7:30 p.m. face-off.
