Two thousand fans in attendance on Wednesday, March 19 will receive a Phantoms umbrella, courtesy of PECO. The Battleship of New Jersey will also be giving away coupons for discounted tours of the ship.
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS RETURNING ON MARCH 21
The one-and-only SpongeBob SquarePants is set to return to the First Union Spectrum on Friday, March 21. SpongeBob will be signing autographs and taking pictures with his fans who bring cameras. Members of the Philadelphia Charge will also be in attendance to sign autographs and drop the opening puck.
MARCH 23 IS TRIBUTE TO PHILLY HOCKEY NIGHT
Philadelphia Firebirds and Flyers alumni will be on hand to sign autographs and meet the public on Sunday, March 23 during Tribute to Philly Hockey Night. The Phantoms will be wearing Firebirds replica jerseys during the game against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The ever-popular Chick-Fil-A Cows On Ice contest will take place during the first intermission and check out the interactive Chick-Fil-A table on the concourse. The National Adoption Center will also have information tables on the concourse and Penn Maid will be offering samples of their products.
NEXT JERSEY AUCTION SET FOR MARCH 23
The Phantoms' second postgame jersey auction of the season is set for March 23 during Tribute to Philly Hockey Night. Philadelphia will be wearing replicas jerseys of the old Philadelphia Firebirds (1974-77 NAHL,1977-79 AHL) during its game against the Hartford Wolf Pack before auctioning them off in Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant.
The Phantoms Wives Charity Foundation, a division of the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation, is dedicating proceeds from the jersey auction and all its fund-raising efforts this season to the National Adoption Center. The NAC is a private, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia that has found families for more than 19,000 children across the United States.
During the first jersey auction of the season, the Phantoms Wives raised $19,000 on Dec. 20 when the team wore special red & green Holiday jerseys during its 4-2 win over the Hershey Bears. A total of $1,470 was also raised at the third annual player bachelor auction on Nov. 15. Fans placed bids at the Phantoms Wives table for the chance to go on a date with one of six single Phantoms players, as well as Mix 95.7 afternoon disc jockey Rick Stacy.

Phlex will be celebrating his seventh birthday on Sunday, March 30 and many of his mascot friends will be joining him for a giant broomball game during the first intermission.
WEDNESDAY IS SEASON TICKET HOLDER SKATING PARTY
Attention season ticket holders: don't forget the annual skating party is set for this Wednesday, March 12 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J. Here's your chance to skate around and eat dinner with the Phantoms players and coaches. Dozens of prizes will also be given away in the raffle.

PHILADELPHIA SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT SEMINAR
The Phantoms and Comcast-Spectacor will be hosting the first-ever Philadelphia Sports and Entertainment Seminar at the First Union Center from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17. This event is geared towards high school and college students who are interested in the sports and entertainment industry.
Students who sign up will have the opportunity to hear presentations and talk to people in Ticket and Corporate Sales, Marketing, Fan Development/Community Relations, Public Relations, Broadcasting, Building Operations, Human Resources, and Game Operations.
The package is $25 per person, and includes entry into the Sports and Entertainment seminar; two tickets to the Phantoms game on Wednesday, March 19; lunch and a Phlex bobblehead doll. Call 215-465-4522 to register now.

Defenseman Kirk Furey will be this week's guest on "Rumble with the Phantoms," which airs every Wednesday from 4:30-5:00 p.m. on WNJC (1360 AM). Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every week.

The Philadelphia Phantoms, WNJC 1360-AM, and South Jersey Sports On-Line (www.SJSports.com) are proud to announce the "Inside the Phantoms" show. Hosted by David Unkle of The Topcat Sports Show, Inside the Phantoms airs twice a month and features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways. The Topcat Sports Show airs Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Philadelphia's Renaissance Radio Station, WNJC 1360-AM. The next interview will take place on Tuesday, March 18 during the 5:00 p.m. hour.
NEXT CN8 BROADCAST SET FOR MARCH 21
CN8, the Comcast Network, is airing a total of 11 Phantoms games throughout the 2002-03 season, with the next telecast set for Friday, March 21 vs. the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. The CN8 broadcast team once again features Tim Saunders, Orest Kindrachuk and Mick Moninghoff.
